FARM GATE FUTURES
The Farm Gate Futures project aimed to help Tasmanian primary producers branch out, generate new income streams, and build on-farm resilience through agritourism opportunities.
The focus of this project is to build each farmer’s ability to adapt to change that may include impacts as a result of changing market conditions, climate, changing technologies or responses to crisis impacts such as floods and drought. The project also works to generate opportunities for farmers by facilitating collaboration across industry sectors, expanding farmers’ existing networks, and shifting the way they think about their business and the region they operate in.
As part of this project, Regionality Pty Ltd is delivering their Agritourism Business Development Program (ABDP).
